The Emikon HPF-1040-50 is a sector filter specially designed to eliminate interference induced by industrial and domestic equipment on the CENELEC-A EN50065 frequency band used in PLC systems (Linky, Prime, G3, etc.). This filter is therefore ideal for attenuating the interference generated by a Linky counter.

The HPF-1040-50 covers the entire band used by communicating meters (35 - 95kHz). The filter also operates in a bi-directional manner, which can limit meter reading errors. Finally, the HPF-1040-50 also protects your electrical devices (PC, TV...) connected to the home network.

To reduce these interferences, the PLC filter applies an attenuation of more than 50dB on the CENELEC-A EN50065 frequency bands used by new generation electricity meters. The maximum supported current is 40A, suitable for most domestic installations.

The HPF-1040-50 is designed to integrate directly into your electrical panel, at the top of the installation, just after the meter, this filter is mounted in a standard housing using 4 units. It is equipped with a hook for mounting on standard DIN rail. The cables are firmly held in place by fixing them to pairs of screws. The slots can support a variety of cabling from 6 to 16mm² of cross section.

Localized filtering

Emikon PLC filters do not restrict the operation of communicating meters in any way. All the functions of the device continue to operate normally and this filter cannot be used to prevent the meters from collecting information about the details of your power consumption.

A PLC filter simply attenuates at a local scale (your home electrical network) the frequencies that meters use to communicate with each other. This process does not affect the meter, which only uses these frequency bands to communicate outside your network.
