Class-A Balanced Preamplifier ACSS XLR RCA
Audio-GD presents us once again the quintessence of technology in audio with the HE series products (here the HE-1 MK2), evolution of the MASTER series. They have benefited from the longest design and testing period in the history of the famous brand.
Even if Audio-GD had already studied the products since 2006, the best technicians of the firm offer them to us here under the most accomplished form with outstanding performances.
This MK2 version of the HE-1 adds some new features to improve the sound performance with a more detailed and dynamic sound, but also new features:
It has no less than 5 analog inputs to meet all needs: 2x RCA / 2x XLR / 1x ACSS, alongside 3 analog outputs: XLR / RCA / ACSS. A great musicality thanks to an exceptional dynamic and a rich and extremely detailed.
Each Audio-GD product is scrupulously tested with one of the most powerful systems in the world: the Audio Analyzers 2700 Series from Audio Precision.
This HE-1 MK2 preamplifier is designed around a purely balanced discrete Class A ACSS circuit, without any separate power supply. This avoids any electromagnetic interference on the processed signals.
It is equipped with no less than 3 R-Core transformers for a total power of 260W and a consumption of only 70W. It also has 100.000uF of high quality Nover capacitors.
Audio-GD has its own signature technology called ACSS for "Audio-GD Current System Signal". Thanks to the expertise and know-how of the firm, this technology offers a sound less colored, more detailed, and of a neutrality without equivalent.
Each technical engineer of the brand is, in addition to being experienced, a HiFi and Audio enthusiast like you and us. To know, when the ACSS output is used, the XLR and RCA outputs are switched to MUTE.
