The Erato M7 is a high-end tube preamplifier with an intelligent and meticulous design, allowing it to deliver exceptional audio performance. It integrates high-quality components in order to provide a rich sound reproduction that is faithful to the original signal. In addition, unlike many other preamplifiers that use conventional potentiometers, the M7 uses a resistor-switched relay attenuator. This technology is much more efficient, protecting the signal from unwanted distortion. These components are integrated in a very beautiful, solid Aluminium case.

Connectivity

For its connectivity, the Erato M7 is simple and efficient. Indeed, there are 3 pairs of RCA (Stereo) inputs: a line input, a CD player input and a DAC input. On the output side, the preamplifier offers a pair of stereo RCAs for unbalanced output and a pair of 3-pole XLR connectors for balanced output. All connectors are gold plated to ensure both very good conductivity and excellent corrosion resistance and therefore very good durability.

Display and Control

The Erato M7 offers extremely simple ergonomics for a quick and efficient handling and use. There is a cm screen on the front panel, allowing you to display information about the active source. Two buttons allow you to control all the features of this preamplifier. The left button allows you to select an active source (rotation) but also to enter the setup menu (short press) or display the time on the entire screen (long press). The one on the right allows him to turn the unit on/off (long press), adjust the volume (rotation) or switch the preamplifier to mute mode (short press).
