Gustard H26 Discrete Balanced Class A Preamplifier Headphone Amplifier Silver
With its H26, Gustard unveils a class-A balanced audiophile preamplifier/headphone amplifier featuring discrete components. It features 8 pairs of power transistors, two dual LME49720 AOPs, two toroidal transformers, a relay volume control matrix and a balanced architecture. In terms of aesthetics, this device features beautiful curves and solid materials.
Gustard H26 : OPA LM49720
The Gustard H26 benefits from two LM49720 ultra-low distortion, ultra-low noise dual OPAs for its preamplifier stage. These OPAs are specially designed for audiophile and professional applications. The preamplifier outputs can be switched off to quickly change the use of the H26 between headphones and loudspeakers.
Gustard H26: a power supply with two 50W toroidal transformers
The Gustard H26 preamplifier/headphone amplifier uses no less than two 50W toroidal transformers. Each transformer is dedicated to one channel. These provide a clean, stable power supply for the H26, with the help of several low-noise voltage regulators and Nikon Nichicon capacitors. Note that the power supply to the headphone amplifier section can be switched off, allowing the H26 to operate as a pure preamplifier.
Gustard H26: a powerful headphone amplifier
With its 3 headphone outputs, the Gustard H26 lets you enjoy most headphones on the market. Its powerful headphone output makes it compatible with even the most difficult to drive headphones, with impedances up to 600 ohms.
