The SMSL D10 is a high-performance portable headphone amplifier/DAC. It is based on the use of two Cirrus Logic CS43131 chips, enabling it to support sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256. These chips also provide substantial headphone amplification, with output power up to 500mW into 32 ohm and a dynamic range of 121dB. As for the D10's connectivity interface, we find the essentials with a USB-C input and two headphone outputs: 3.5mm jack and balanced 4.4mm jack. Moreover, despite its affordability, SMSL has given its D10 a minimalist, high-end design, with transparent circuitry.
