Bon câble ...
Bon câble, mais un peu fin du niveau du diamètre ext, pour une bonne fixation dans la plupart des connecteurs

What an awesome surprise. This is just great.
I was completely caught off guard by this. I bought it more out of curiosity than anything else, quite certain of a return. Well, the Digirescue is not going anywhere. With a 5v IfI IPower 2 power supply, the sound of out of the reclocked coax tap was much improved compared to the sound obtained from my Elac ds s101g previously. But after connecting the Digirescue to my Keces P3 lps upgraded with a SR Orange fuse, the sound coming out of of my Rotel 1592 mk ii just exploded…it is way above anything I could expect. For me the lps is a must do upgrade. The imaging, the depth and width of the soundstage, the dynamics, and musicality, have just gone from adequate to really, really good. I know it probably sounds silly to use such an expensive lps with a component at this price point, but if you already have a power supply and are thinking about upgrading your streamer, just give this a go, you might have a surprise. I was not expecting anything given there weren’t many reviews, but I’d give this a 6/5. Well done audiophonics! I guess Ian Canada stuff is really that good. I’d recommend using good cables as well, totally deserving of them.

Great value CD-player upgrade!
Audiophonics did a fantastic job again with this DigiRescue Reclocker. I have the reclocker connected to a quite 'regular' 1990s Sony cd-player that has a Toslink output, and I power it with Audiophonics' 5V linear powersupply, on which I still had an unused USB 5V out. I use the "Canare by Audiophonics" digital coax cable to connect it to my DAC's s/pdif in, and a glass-based Toslink cable between the cd-player and the DigiRecue.
Before getting the Digirescue, I was not able to hear a difference between the cd-player's internal DAC and my external DAC. I am happy to report this is no longer the case now!

This device feels very well built, with metal housing and nice sturdy RCA connections. The reclocker has not only increased clarity and precision as advertised, but I can also clearly notice better dynamics and imaging. Overall, I experience more presence and enjoy my CD's more now. One thing to note in my setup, is that the bass not only gained presence, but also somehow feels significantly louder. That could/should be just due to either perceptual change as a result from better clarity and dynamics, or perhaps my smaller room size now more prominently interacting with these frequencies from the former. Either way, it's not on a level that's disturbing me but it was unanticipated and interesting.
Toslink to Coax conversion/ port choice is fully automatic, so you can tuck this small device also in difficult to reach spaces, should you want to.

The web-shopping experience has room for improvement: it is not cool that the product suddenly increased by 6 Euros in price during shopping/looking around. I wish that the advertised product price would be what you see the first time, and the web-store leaves out the marketing trickery.

Parfait
