Cables OK. Service first rate!
I had been looking at buying the parts to make up a bi-amp cable pair when I found these great looking finished ones for the same cost. Too good to be true? Well actually yes - they were pictured and described with banana plugs but priced and supplied with simple crimp sleeves. However, when I pointed this out the reaction from Audiophonics was absolutely first rate. I could have returned them for a refund but accepted a credit to cover banana plugs instead. More importantly they immediately corrected both description and photos on the website to prevent any further confusion. The cables themselves look great and do the job as expected. I'm not analytical enough to confirm any difference between the tin-plated and silver-plated conductors but I'm very happy with the final result both sonically and aesthetically. Qudos to the customer service dept.
