Bizarre
Lorsque ce câble est apparu sur le site Audiophonics, j'ai cherché ce que pouvait bien être le traitement réalisé par la société Physis concernant la couche de carbone entourant le conducteur OFC.
J'avoue avoir bien ri et me suis demandé ce qu'il pouvait bien fumer après avoir lu les caractéristiques sonores apportées par leur fameux traitement.
Ne trouvant aucun commentaire sur le WEB, je me suis décidé à en commander, juste pour voir.
Pour mon système Tannoy D700 et ampli GATO 400S ce sera certainement le dernier câble.
Brièvement, les enceintes semblent avoir disparu et le son remplit toute la pièce... Je n'en dirais pas plus sur les qualités du produit. Très bizarre comme effet, et j'avoue ne pas trop comprendre.

En paire appairee, ce duo offre une scène large, profonde haute ! 3d immersif !
Une sublime restitution dans tout le spectre.
Vraiment des tubes de haut vol et musicaux comme jamais.
Comparé à tung sol, TAD ecc803s, EH, ils sont loin mais très loin devant ! .

Smsl ad18
Je vous raconte mon histoire je possède depuis quelque temps un amplificateur yamaha As701 connu de tous. A ma grande stupeur je me suis rendu compte que le son numérique du smslAD18 était pour moi un niveau au dessus. Clarté du timbre des voies. Le yamaha est très bon mais le Smsl a un son plus chaud. Il sont connecté à mes vieilles Philips rh 2253. À l’écoute sur celle ci c’est le Smsl qui gagne le match largement. Ce qui me fait peur c’est sa durée de vie. Espérons quil ne souffriras pas d’obsolescences. Merci à audiophonic pour sa rapidité. Je pense à l’avenir rester sur du numérique avec le Smsl a2.a bientôt. Je recommande ce produit.

Très bien avec un FOSI BT20A Pro
Avec mon FOSI Audio livré à l’origine avec une alimentation 32v, l’apport de cette alimentation 48v est bénéfique. Plus que la puissance , elle apporte de la matière et de la vivacité.
L’appareil paraît solide.
Un bon achat.

C’est bien un ampli hifi
Ne pas se fier à sa taille. Il est puissant, le son est précis mais pas trop, vivant, délivrant une scène sonore crédible. Aucune fatigue auditive, les aigus sont doux et les basses bien tenues.
Je l’utilise avec un preampli XDUOO MT-603 qui dispose de 4 entrées dont 3 RCA, un lecteur réseau Yamaha WXC-50. Sur des enceintes bibliothèque KEF IQ10 ça donne vraiment bien. Le Bluetooth n’est pas super qualitatif, c’est juste pour dépanner. Les correcteurs de tonalité fonctionnent bien mais j’ai tout laissé à Odb, pour moi c’est très bien comme ça (après ça dépend de la pièce d’écoute).
Pour le prix franchement il fait bien mieux que certains amplis beaucoup plus cher !

Que dire...
Une claque. Installé dans mon FOSI V3 (48V), la différence est immédiate. Donne une tonalité d'ampli à tubes avec clarté et définition. Utilisé dans mon setup: Tinker Board+Volumio+Ares 2.
Un Must et pour le prix, y'a pas à hésiter...

modification du module de controle
les condensateurs qui permet de crée une latence au niveau des vu metres , ne sont pas suffisant, il faut rajouter un condensateur en parallele sur les vu metres 220 uf 50 v bipolair.
remplacer l"ampli op par un lm 358 , les reglages des trims sont tres delicat . les condensateurs juste à cote du regulateur de tension c'est pas terrible.

Très bon produit
Un bel objet de bonne facture. De bons contacts, des prises qui tiennent bien, et la possibilité de le fixer au mur ou sur un support en bois est vraiment un plus.
Par contre les prises n'ont pas d'obturateurs pour le sécurité enfants... donc non conforme à la NFC 15100, donc une étoile en moins.

Une révélation en matière de transparence, de fluidité et de détails
Je souhaitais avoir un amplificateur de puissance Hi-Fi qualitatif sur mon système multicanal (j’écoute pas mal de vidéos, plutôt musique classique) et les deux enceintes colonnes Triangle Signature Delta qui sont dynamiques et brillantes dans l’aigu souvent associées à des amplis à tubes et assez exigeantes au niveau de l’électronique associée, mon amplificateur intégré multicanal est le Denon 8500HA plutôt adapté à ce type d’enceintes et assez neutre.
Un modèle Purifi, système d’amplification réputé pour leur neutralité et leur transparence ainsi que leur finesse musicale, s’avérait être une bonne option, mais généralement prix élevé comme chez NAD. Ce HP-S400 ET a retenu mon attention, prix intéressant et performances sonores impressionnantes (mesures et qualités musicales), les avis sur ce site ont fini par me convaincre, ainsi qu’un échange avec le conseiller d’Audiophonics.
Depuis que je l’ai connecté à mon système, jusqu’ici j’avais un Nuprime MCX (classe D également) plus usage Home Cinéma et musique, là, avec l’HP-S400 ET, j’avais des détails beaucoup plus fins et retranscrits précisément et un équilibre très naturel, très bonne spatialité (largeur et profondeur). Très agréable à écouter, musical, neutre et fluide, je pense vendre le Nuprime, sur cette catégorie d’ampli de puissance à moins de 2000 euros, peu de propositions de la part des constructeurs.
Cet Audiophonics a une valeur exceptionnelle à mon avis, sa facilité à fonctionner avec beaucoup de configurations (préamplis et enceintes), je ne pense qu’il y a peu de concurrents à son niveau en classe D, très pratique lorsque l’on n’a pas l’espace suffisant pour des amplificateurs plus volumineux et lourds comme les classes AB ou A. De plus, pour ceux qui s’en servent sur une configuration Hi-Fi avec un meilleur préamplificateur, la qualité sonore doit être encore plus élevée.

Installer sur un ampli guitare en lieu et place d'un tube made in "China". Cette 12ax7 m'a littéralement envoyer dans une autre dimension musicale ..Présence accrue des basses précises, Crush ,overdrive et saturation ..médiums améliorés et aigus parfait ..

Impressionnant !
1er ampli casque pour moi, mon Meze 109 Pro était auparavant branché sur un intégré Atoll IN200 Signature.

Testé avec des câbles secteur et RCA "basiques" et branché en asymétrique pour le moment, cet ampli casque a tout de même apporté beaucoup de choses positives :

Les plus :
- Énorme gain de puissance, en low gain sur le HA-B6120 et avec le bouton volume à peine au tiers, je suis à l’équivalent du volume 60 sur l’Atoll
- La scène sonore est transcendée : beaucoup plus profond et large, presque un effet 3D supplémentaire
- Beaucoup plus de détails
Les moins :
- Ampli qui n’est pas de classe A, donc moins chaleureux qu’un Atoll (et je parle pas des amplis à lampes) et aigus un peu plus tranchants.
- Légère perte de graves (mais ça vient peut être des câbles qui sont basiques)

A voir comment ça sonnera avec un upgrade de câbles. Même un ampli de ce prix mérite un bon câble secteur pour être alimenté dans de bonnes conditions.

En tout cas le rapport qualité/prix est très impressionnant ! Je recommande sans hésiter !

Je débute dans la HiFi.

J'ai pris ce SMSL SU-1 DAC pour compléter un Ultima Kombo 20 de chez Teufel afin d'améliorer le DAC de mon installation Teufel et de pouvoir brancher ma TV et console (via toslink) sur l'installation.

Le gain de qualité par rapport au DAC de mon installation est sensible.

Et les tests sur Internet confirme ce ressenti.

Pour le prix, c'est parfait et je recommande !

ELECAUDIO HP-25OFCS Câble
Excellent price-performance ratio and the right combination of copper and silver for dynamic and clear sound. Terminated with ATOHM WT-STU Plugs this cables are very good solution for Class D amps . A new reference for me.

Simple et éfficace
Acheté en remplacement d’une carte son Sound blaster Z Se qui me posait problème. L’appareil est plug and play et ne pose aucune difficulté (bien paramétrer l’échantillonnage de sortie voulu via Windows). J’ai la sensation (peut être fausse) d’avoir plus de détails qu’avec la sortie optique de ma carte son. Cette interface fait ce qu’on lui demande pour un tarif particulièrement contenu donc c’est parfait.

Flimsy
I've bought two of these plus and both broke the same place i.e. tightening down on main cover over a 16mm cable. They certainly are NOT suitable for such cables or hefty conductor thickness i.e. 5/6mm sq.

One other thing that bothers me about Furutech is their phosphor bronze alloy as the base conductor. Phosphor bronze is one of the worst conductors out there and coating with gold or rhodium (also an awful conductor) is like putting lipstick on a pig.

Decent but..
I've used most of the Viborg connector types and would have rated them higher were it not for IeGO connectors which are just a cut above Viborg. Shame Audiophonics don't stock them as they are exceptional after a few months of burn in.

5 / 5 - They are are brilliant, Crinacle was right.
The Moondrop Blessing 2 introduced me to the world of "detailed" sound...then the Monarch MKII came along and completed it filling in all the gaps. I needed something stellar when I left the house - taking my Hifiman Arya was just a little silly.

Compared to the Blessing 2 these are the most important differences:
- Dead neutral tuning, wow.
- Magical treble extension ( Blessing 2 is still great though )
- Bass. The Blessing 2's major weakness, but these IEM's have it...and there's enough. I worry for reviewers unable to hear it, or claim it's "thin".

Dynamics and Control !
A power amplifier with fantastic dynamics and control. My previous power amp was 1st generation class D (ICE Power) and development has really progressed since then with these Hypex NCx500 modules.
Can really recommend this power amplifier which, in Audiophonic's design, is of top quality at a reasonable cost.
The purchase process was without problems with fast delivery.

Superb little DSP'
I've bought this DSP kit initially for fun. However, it was a life saver!
I had programmed it with a dynamics compressor, to be able to get rid of the LOUD action sounds and inaudible dialogues on Netflix (and movies in general). It does the job very well, you don't get a heart attack each time family is watching some movies...
In Sigma Studio there are a lot of interesting algorithms and other applications.

Great cable
I use this cable for my turntable, which doesn't see a lot of use. I also use it to connect my Bluetooth DAC and I can't fault the cable, especially at this price.

I think this cable is worth trying before spending x3 times the price for alternatives. I changed every cable in my system to Neotech and haven't regretted it at all.

Un amour !
Couplé au DAC SMSL SU-6, le résultat est formidable. Transparence et silence de fonctionnement, rien à dire au niveau des sens : c’est le fond noir.
Utilisé dans une pièce de 16m², bruit de fond +46dB, le SMSL SA-6 se montre totalement suffisant; avec enceintes 84 dB/8 Ohms. Le potentiomètre reste généralement au 2⁄3 soit 20/60 à l’écran, le niveau sonore atteint aisément les 90 dB à 2m. Cela permet de s’approcher du point de puissance qui optimise ses performances. Les réglages de tonalité (Bass/Treble) sont excellents et sans distorsion. La télécommande est parfaite.
Son alimentation externe est pour moi un point positif avec une longueur du câble respectable, il ne chauffe pas et remplace efficacement un amplificateur AB vintage 12 fois son volume. Le SMSL DA-6 est une solution élégante et discrète, il a les épaules pour tout usage raisonnable. C’est un appareil parfait pour transitionner vers un système plus ambitieux et, peut-être que comme moi, vous aurez même du mal à justifier de passer à autre chose par la suite.

Could we get please the same version with FI-09 NCF Rhodium inlet, and FI-E30 Rhodium sockets instead? And upgraded cabling ? Some of us are not a big fan of gold.

Son dynamique, détaillé, haut de gamme. bluffant !
Il est devenu ma tour de contrôle à la place de mon PC.
Je l'ai comparé à mon DAC R2R Denafrips+DDC Iris et je préfère l'Eversolo pour le dynamisme qu'il apporte dans les graves. Les aigus sont aussi bons qu'avec mon DAC. Il est branché à un pre-Amp à tubes Trafomatics Head2 avant d'attaquer un ampli class-D pour mes enceintes. J'écoute également sur des casques haut de gamme.
Je peux gérer l'audio de mon PC, du NAS, de la TV du DAC et tout ce qui peut se connecter en BlueTooth. Une vraie réussite technologique et audiophile.
A consommer sans modération !

Incroyable !!
J’ai acheté ce petit intégré symétrique pour remplacer un Yamaha WXA-50 (en Class D lui aussi avec un module IcePower). Mon Yamaha était super, droit, neutre, increvable … sachant tout faire … mais … un peu juste à mon goût pour alimenter mes Saxo 50 de la marque System Audio (absolument extraordinaires, au passage).
J’avoue que quand j’ai demandé conseil à Audiophonics, je ne m’attendais pas à la réponse. J’hésitais entre un Topping PA5 et ce SLSL … avec une petite préférence (sur le papier) pour le Topping très bien critiqué sur le site ASR.
C’est donc fébrile que j’ai cliqué sur « Commander » en priant pour ne pas avoir fait une connerie …
J’ai fait confiance à Audiophonics … et j’ai, encore fois, bougrement bien fait !
Le SMSL est un ampli avec un récepteur Bluetooth, c’est tout. Par rapport au Yamaha qui sait tout faire … j’avais de quoi trembler …
Reçu en 3 jours (merci Audiophonics) … et installé dans la foulée avec une lecture depuis un Mac mini / DAC SMSL Sanskrit 10Th MkII … un bon DAC mais pas un tueur non plus … en asymétrique. Donc pas les meilleures conditions pour tester cet ampli de fond en comble …
Et bien malgré cette «petite» config, le SMSL fait un travail tout simplement incroyable !
Je voulais réveiller mes enceintes et profiter (enfin) d’une scène sonore plus holographique … je l’ai ! La musique sort avec une puissance jamais entendu avant … même à faible volume (dans mon salon de 30m2).
L’équilibre tonal est parfaitement neutre … mais c’est la clarté du son qui me scotche le plus ! Je redécouvre complètement le DAC … qui, pour son prix, est déjà incroyablement bon !
Cet ampli SMSL est tout bonnement incroyable … très puissant … neutre … pas cher … et symétrique ! Il me reste à commander un DAC symétrique pour remettre une claque à la claque que je viens de prendre …

A remarcable cable and a true bargain
I do a lot of DIY staff and I gave this cable a try, due to its large cross-section, silver plating and PTFE insulation. I have used it to make speaker and power cables and although I was already familiar with the sound quality of this kind of cable at smaller cross sections, I was totally blown away with this one. After all, the size of the cross section DOES matter. I dare to say that both power and speaker cables I made with it, are very close to the sonic signature of mid-priced Nordost cables, without their complexity and at a very small fraction of their cost. Speed, micro and macro-dynamics, transparency, spatial information, frequency extension in both ends, smoothness, rich timbre and very extended but also very clean and accurate bass. Beware though, as always when PTFE is present, the brake-in period is very long. Do not judge it in the first few hours of listening. It needs at least 20 hours just to start to open-up, especially in the bass section. And it will continue for the next 200-300 hours. So be patient and you will be richly rewarded. I hope that Audiophonics will keep this cable in their catalogue for a very long time.

Very nice device, but no standby
What I like:
1. Overall the build quality is very good, the PCB is sturdy, seems to be populated with quality components.
2. Sort of nice surprise: if wired properly, one can control 5(+1) stereo inputs ;)

There are is one thing which I don't like: there is no Standby functionality.

Pay attention when wiring the rotary control. If plugged in incorrectly, the input selection will always go only one way. If wired correctly, turning left will decrease the input number, turning right will increase it. When it gets to the end, it starts from the opposite end.
One question: what is the MON button supposed to do? Press once, the currently selected channel LED blinks, press 2 times, all the LEDs light up for a second.

Best performance/price ratio ever
I recently purchased one of these beauties for a customer who is very sensitive to radiation of all sorts and looked for a noise-free replacement for the switching power supply that came with his Squeezebox Classic streamer.
First I went for the ubiquitous Teradak DC-30 but then found out that all sources to buy one are in China. Looked around some more and was amazed to find that there is a French company selling a similar PSU for even less! The ordering process was hassle-free and straightforward. Took less than a week to have it here.
Unfortunately I had only very little time to check it out, but I really like what I see.
I need to emphasize that I don't consider myself an audiophile, I am more focused on things that I can feel and measure. Therefore, I won't share any audition results and comparisons between this PSU and others regarding the sound quality. Sorry folks.

** Case **
The build quality is superb all over. Nice anodized aluminium case, thick front panel, the back panel is also aluminium, everything fits exactly, it's heavy and solid. Chunky IEC power connector, indicator LEDs on the front (white) and back (green). It's a beauty to behold.

** Inside **
Inside things go on like that. Heavy duty toroidal transformer, massively oversized, discrete rectification, four Nichicon electrolytic capacitors, 4700µF/40V each to reduce any ripple, very clean PCB layout. Not a single wire. No flux residue anywhere, it's just as clean as it could ever be.

** Measurements **
There is not much to say about the output. It's absolutely flat 5VDC with no ripple or distortion whatsoever. Even under load this won't change. I hooked up three Squeezebox Classic with a consumption of around 6 to 7 Watts each. Even though this is close to the maximum specified, the PSU had no trouble serving them all the cleanest power. The peak power drawn from the 230V supply was ~34W so it appears that the PSU will consume around 4W for itself per output used. Haven't had the time to play around with smaller loads but I assume this is in relation to the power demands of the consuming device.
Power factor is close to 0.9 which I consider good, not stellar but a lot better than the typical switching power supplies.
Power consumption is shown with 0.0 Watts on the HOPI meter when the PSU is on but nothing is connected! Wow!
The three outputs are joined together but there is so much power available at any time that the consuming devices won't affect each other. This might be different if one emits extreme amounts of distortion, but then such units are best isolated from others and not supplied on the same power rail. Not a fault of this device in any case.

** More Observations **
The unit produces a good amount of warmth so it should not be used in tight spaces with little air around. It's far from red hot though.
There is a fuse inside, protecting the primary side of the transformer. In case it is blown it's just a matter of lifting the top lid and putting in a new one. However, I would have preferred a more accessible place for the fuse, somewhere on the back panel.
The LEDs are just poking through their respective panel, they are not fixed so it's possible to push them in. All that holds them is their own two legs. Not a major concern though, considering the price this is a tiny compromise.
The USB ports don't have a lot of grabbing force. It is rather easy to pull out USB connectors. A bit more spring tension wouldn't hurt.
Although I ordered only a PSU, there was also a 5.5/2.1mm cable delivered along. Nice touch, guys, and very appreciated!

** Summary **
This is an amazing piece of kit, unexpectedly well-built considering the budget price. I think this little thing can compete with PSUs in the price range of 400 to 500 EUR. Much of that goes into the brand names, not the values inside. A lot of attention was paid here, and all pieces that count are well done.
I will recommend this unit, and Audiophonics overall, to anyone who is interested in enhancing their audio equipment and musical experience.

Exceptionnel rapport qualité/prix
Après avoir utilisé longuement le Topping E30-II que je considère modestement comme un exploit à ce prix, je viens de découvrir le D70 Pro Octo et dès les premières minutes, j'ai pu découvrir un appareil ultra-performant à la musicalité sans pareille surtout dans cette gamme de prix. Un véritable exploit. A recommander vivement.

I totally agree with Anders L. review. I do a lot of DIY staff and I gave this cable a try, due to its large cross-section, silver plating and PTFE insulation. I have used it to make speaker and power cables and although I was already familiar with the sound quality of this kind of cable at smaller cross sections, I was totally blown away with this one. After all, the size of the cross section DOES matter. I dare to say that both power and speaker cables I made with it, are very close to the sonic signature of mid-priced Nordost cables, without their complexity and at a very small fraction of their cost. Speed, micro and macro-dynamics, transparency, spatial information, frequency extension in both ends, smoothness, rich timbre and very extended but also very clean and accurate bass. Beware though, as always when PTFE is present, the brake-in period is very long. Do not judge it in the first few hours of listening. It needs at least 20 hours to just start to open-up, especially in the bass section. And it will continue for the next 200-300 hours. So be patient and you will be richly rewarded. I hope that Audiophonics will keep this cable in their catalogue for a very long time.
