The Furutech ASB-2 Ion is a brush that effectively eliminates static electricity using a unique material, the conductive acrylic fiber COREBRID TMB, developed by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. The ASB-2 Ion will allow you to properly maintain your records - vinyl, CD, Blu-Ray - while discharging their static electricity for optimal sound and image reproduction.

The ASB-2 Ion brush uses a dual process to completely eliminate static electricity. First, it performs a corona discharge, then it generates a voltage through a piezoelectric element, eliminating the static potential difference with a flow of positive and negative ions. This technique ensures that no new floating static fields are generated during brushing.

The operation of the ASB-2 Ion is very simple. The brush's built-in ionizer sends a stream of positive ions from the top of the handle when the lever is pressed and negative ions when the lever is released.

Moreover, the fineness of the bristles of this brush - about 30µm - allows a deep cleaning of the vinyls, these being able to penetrate perfectly the grooves of the records.
