FPGA Master
At the heart of the DX300 is an FPGA-Master specifically designed for this model. The role of this FPGA-Master is to recover the audio data sent by the SoC in order to maintain a clean and stable signal. Associated with two Accusilicon clocks (22.5792M and 24.576M), it generates and perfectly synchronizes the clock signals. All in all, it ensures drastic jitter reduction to provide an extremely clean digital audio signal.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC
Qualcomm's integrated 8-core Snapdragon 660 processor, burned in 14nm, delivers incredible power to efficiently process audio signals while enabling smooth navigation within the device interface. This SoC comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM storage (expandable via Micro SD card not included).
Dual battery
The power supply stage of the DX300 integrates two independent batteries. The first one powers the digital stage, where the second one powers the headphone amplifier. This separation of the power supplies limits possible interference between the digital and analog circuits in order to reduce the level of distortion as much as possible.
CS43198 Quad DAC
No less than four Cirrus Logic CS43198 QFN DACs are used in the iBasso DX300's digital-to-analog conversion stage for a total of 8 conversion channels. These combined channels provide the DAP with a fully symmetrical conversion circuitry while enhancing its sound performance.
Removable and interchangeable amplifier card
A special feature of the DX300 is that the amplifier module's integrated circuit can be removed and replaced very easily. Changing this amplifier board thus allows you to modify the sound signature of the DAP to enjoy a reproduction in total adequacy with your type of listening or your headphones.
Gorgeous IPS screen
Featuring a gorgeous 6.5" borderless LTPS IPS touchscreen, with a resolution of 2340*1080 pixels and a pixel density of 397ppi, the DX300 offers fast and intuitive navigation. Above it, a thin LED indicator shows the status of the device.
Balanced & Single-ended outputs
The AMP11 amplifier module integrated with the iBasso DX300 is based on the brand's AMP8 and discrete component design. It delivers a high power output of 1240mW at 32Ω. In addition, the AMP11 offers multiple outputs, including two balanced outputs in 2.5mm and 4.4mm jacks and one unbalanced output in 3.5mm jacks.
In addition, the DX300 also features a 3.5mm Coaxial Jack output supporting audio streams up to PCM 384kHz and DoP DSD128 and can also be used as a USB DAC to take advantage of the device's conversion capabilities.
Mango OS & Android 9.0
The iBasso DX300 interface is based on a fast and powerful Android 9.0 operating system, taking advantage of the hardware acceleration of the Snapdragon 660 GPU. In addition, the use of Android allows the installation of many applications. The independent reading system is based on Mango OS (5th generation), specifically developed for this use.
Bluetooth 5.0 & WiFi 5Ghz 2x2 MIMO
The DX300 benefits from extensive wireless connectivity, integrating a WiFi receiver using a 2x2 MIMO antenna. Thus, with two channels in and out, transmission speed and capacity is greatly improved.
Bluetooth 5.0 is also on board, with a high-performance associated antenna for increased transmission distance.
