We are proud to offer you the AUDIOPHONICS HPA-T400ET, a 3 way class D power amplifier based on three PURIFI 1ET400A modules. This ready-to-use version is aimed at audiophiles who want to equip themselves with a foolproof amplification solution, with a considerable power reserve as well as impeccable linearity. PURIFI modules are among the most rigorous Class D amplification solutions on the market, with measured performance that is simply outstanding.

The ensemble offers a high level of sound reproduction that will be suitable to accompany demanding loudspeakers, to soundtrack large listening rooms or for studio applications requiring considerable headroom without compromising on the precision and richness of the audio message.

All the components are integrated in a sober and robust 100% aluminum case with openings and radiators to promote heat dissipation. Its design also allows it to limit the impact of interference on the signal.

• The output noise is negligible, which allows deep silences and favors the appearance of details when listening at low volume.
• The circuit benefits from a high level of rejection (PSRR) that minimizes the impact of the power supply on audio performance.
• The load-independent frequency response makes it possible to take advantage of all the qualities of this amplification technology even with the most difficult to drive speakers.
• Low idle power and electromagnetic radiation (EMI). The high gain loop significantly relieves the workload of the MOSFETs and allows them to operate under optimal conditions, reducing losses and EMI emissions.
• The HPA-T400ET sees these amplifier modules connected with a specially developed interface board for optimal integration.

Audiophonics Driver Board

The amplifier module Purifi is driven by a controller module of our design. 

A Texas Instrument LM4562 OPA per channel is used, these are very low distortion AOPs offering the greatest transparency with a very low THD. They are mounted on socket allowing their replacement if necessary

To suit all uses we opted for 3 gain settings, adjustable by jumper on the interface card :

• Gain of + 7.2dB, for a total of 20dB- Maximum power reached with a signal of ~ 4.2V RMS
• Gain of + 12.5dB, for a total of 25.3dB  (default) - Maximum power reached with a signal of ~ 2.2V RMS
• Bypass: in this case the signal passes directly from the inputs to the modules, allowing the lowest possible gain of 12.8dB. This mode can be interesting when using a powerful preamplifier, capable of driving a load of 2 to 4kOhm and reaching a voltage of ~ 10V RMS

Connectivity

Designed for easy integration, the HPA-T400ET has three XLR inputs. These 3 inputs are ideal, especially for a home cinema audio system, in order to install a stereo system with an additional center channel. On the output side, BP-207 Carbon / 24K Gold insulated terminals Ø5.5mm ensure an excellent connection with the speakers. A trigger module (Jack mono) allows the amplifier to be switched on automatically from a distance. The latter is compatible with voltages from 5 to 12V.
