TS-VU003 Vumeter Controller LED / Lamp
This TS-VU003 VU meter control module lets you integrate magnificent VU meters (sold separately) into your DIY audio creations, whether backlit by LED or bulb. The practical module includes variable resistors for adjusting the input level of each channel and a current regulator for adjusting the luminous intensity of your VU meters' backlighting. Moreover, this VUmeter controller can be powered from either 12V DC or 12-18V AC.
To connect your LED or lamps Vumeters, check the setting of the current regulator (7 - see diagram) on the PCB so that your LEDs do not burn out or your lamp does not light up.

Using the input source DIP switch
If you decide that the input source of the analogue signal is to come from a telephone, preamplifier or computer, then switches 1 & 3 should be in the ON position.
If, on the other hand, you decide to use a signal that has already been amplified, switches 2 and 4 should be set to the ON position. This allows the signal to be compressed almost 11 times.
