One can thus choose the sound as desired by inserting in the circuit the tube sound or only transistor.

The stereo input is on a JFET transistor stage with very low distortion accompanied by a bipolar stage seconded by a Mosfet class A stage. The tube stage is amplified by two 5670 GE closer to the ALPS potentiometer "Black Beauty "with 6 tracks in true symmetrical mode.

Thus theiFi pro iCAN stereo preamplifier is fully symmetrical from input to output on a 4-layer circuit board.

The Chéma of the totally optimized circuit in coupled current mode does not include any capacitors on its path which could degrade the original signal.

Only components sorted on the shutter are in this preamplifier: Vishay MELF capacitors, TDK COG for the audio part, Elna Silmic II and Panasonic Foil for the power supply.

This symmetrical stereo preamplifier is a studio quality level headphone amplifier capable of delivering a very high power (14000mW) for "driver" any of the most demanding symmetrical audiophile model including models from Sennheiser, Audeze and Hifiman.

As any high-end headphone amplifier the gain is fully adjustable on three positions: 0dB, 9dB, 18dB.
