The BOSS de Allo DAC isa converter with PCM5122 DAC decoding signals up to 32bit / 384kHz. It allows digital processing in high-end I2S format. Thanks to its own Masterclock clock it recovers the digital signal DATA, generating only a very low noise drift. So that the Raspberry Pi no longer sends its clock to the DAC but only the data, you simply switch to I2S master mode on your software player.

The DACBoss also offers a unique design by separating the voltages on 3 channels using 3 filters by self shielded and capacitors.

• A channel for the digital stage
• A second for the analog stereo stage
• The last one for the 2 NDK clocks

The power is filtered again by the LDO regulators, in order to reduce the noise even further.
