Meaning of abbreviations on SMPS power supplies

QR, R : SINGLE or DUAL power supplies with LLC classic resonance filter for Class AB or D amplifiers. The SMPS R are characterized by their very good price/performance ratio.

RE : SMPS power supplies with differential outputs and multiple resonant filter voltages, including a LLC filter with low noise EMI filter (with CLC filter at low ripple output). Suitable for high-end amplifiers in Class AB, D or T. Advantageously replaces conventional linear power supplies. (Generally suitable for TA2022, TDA8920, TDA8950, IRS2092 amplifiers).

RS : SMPS power supplies close to the RE but with resonant filter Single Rail Output featuring a LLC filter with low noise EMI filter (with CLC filter at low ripple output) Suitable for high-end amplifiers in Class AB, D or T. Advantageously replaces conventional linear power supplies.

RxE : The top of the range SMPS 600W, 800W and 2000W, featuring latest generation LLC resonant filters (with CLC filter at low ripple output) with high-end FET transistors. Specially recommended for high-end Class D amplifiers (IRS2092, Hypex, CXD). Can also be suitable for classic Class AB amplifiers.
