Meaning of the terms R, RE, RS and RxE for SMPS power supplies :

• QR, R : SINGLE or DUAL power supplies with classic LLC resonance filter for Class AB or D amplifiers. SMPS R are characterized by their good quality/price ratio.
• RE : SMPS power supplies with differential outputs and multiple resonance filter voltages, including an LLC filter with low noise EMI filter (and CLC filter at low ripple output) for high-end amplifiers in Class AB or D/T. Replaces conventional linear power supplies (generally suitable for amplifiers TA2022, TDA8920, TDA8950, IRS2092...).
• RS : SMPS power supplies close to RE but with Single Rail Output resonant filter, including an LLC filter with low noise EMI filter (and CLC filter at low ripple output) for high-end amplifiers in Class AB or D/T. Replaces conventional linear power supplies advantageously.
• RxE : The high-end SMPS 600W, 800W and 2000W featuring the latest generation LLC resonant filters (with CLC filter at low ripple output) with high-end FET transistors. Specially recommended for Class D high end amplifiers (IRS2092, Hypex, CXD...). Can also be used for conventional Class AB amplifiers.
