Connex SMPS300REh

SMPS300REh is a switching power module for use with audio amplifiers requiring high power for extended periods of time. It uses SMPS300RE technology with a more efficient cooling system and increased efficiency. This allows it to power demanding high-end amplifiers (Class A / Class AB or even Class D operated in specific cases).

The power supply operates a half-bridge LLC resonant technology and can develop 300 W continuous power and 350W peak power.

Its design has the particularity to share the cooling plate between the swtiching unit and the rectifier bridge. When the module is correctly integrated in a thermal conductive housing and as long as the thermal stresses remain under control, the power supply is capable of delivering a current truly continuous without causing pulsing effect that may contaminate the signal.

The SMPS300RE card includes protection against overcurrent, limiting the output current to about 130% of the maximum peak power, approximately 400W. This power supply is suitable for both Class AB amplifiers and Class D / T

The amount of EMI is lower than any conventional SMPS, and could be compared to a linear regulated power supply.

The SPMS300RAh has a differential output and is ideally suited for use with several single modules.

SMPS grade R designate SINGLE and DUAL supplies with conventional LLC resonant filter for amplifiers in class A / B or D. R SMPS are characterized by their greate value for money ratio.

A word about the capacitors


Because this power seeks to provide the best performance in an extremely compact format, the electronic components are selected specifically for their ability to respond to this type of use depending on voltage and power parameters.

Also, it is not advised to replace the capacitors, even with references deemed more appropriate with respect to audio standards. These will indeed not necessarily adapted to the constraints of space and clean dissipation circuit, which can significantly degrade the signal and prematurely wear the equipment.

Je rajoute une étoile à mon avis précédent !
Moins d'1 heure après la rédaction de mon avis où je signalais l'absence de fusible, j'ai reçu un mail du SAV me proposant l'envoi d'un fusible adéquoit.
SUper réactivité. Par ailleurs, les performances de l'alim sont très bonne. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent

Bien mais serait encore meilleure avec un fusible !!
L'alimentation en elle même semble fonctionner parfaitement (je viens seulement de la recevoir) mais ce serait encore mieux si elle arrivait fonctionnelle, ce qui n'est pas le cas car il manquait le fusible secteur que l'on voit pourtant bien sur les photos... Ce serait encore mieux si la valeur du fusible était indiquée sur le PCB ou la description !
Heureusement j'avais de quoi me dépanner, j'ais mis un 3,5AT que j'avais sous la main mais je pense qu'un 2AT serait plus adéquoit. Cependant ce n'est pas très critique pour moi car j'ai des fusibles en amont.
Sinon parfait pour l'expédition : commandé dimanche reçu mardi avec GLS
