SMPS300RS Switching Mode Power Supply 300W / 24V

The SMPS300RS switched-mode power supply is an ultra-high-efficiency model capable of delivering 300 Watts of rated power in an extremely compact package.

This power supply is capable of delivering 300W of continuous power and up to 400W peak.

The version supplied is 24V.

The main feature of this power supply is the absence of heat sinks for both the power switches and the rectifier diodes.
The amount of EMI is lower than any conventional power supply, and could be compared to a linear regulated power supply.

Its small size and considerably reduced weight mean that the SMPS300RS can be installed anywhere.

The SMPS300R incorporates overcurrent protection that limits output current to around 130% of maximum peak power, i.e. around 400W. This power supply is suitable for both Class AB and Class D/T amplifiers.

Target applications for this power supply include SAP15 amplifiers or Hypex UCD180 modules.

Meaning of the terms R, RE, RS and RXE on SMPS power supplies:

QR, R: SINGLE or DUAL power supplies with classic LLC resonant filter for class A/B or D amplifiers, SMPS R power supplies are characterized by their excellent price/performance ratio.

RE: SMPS power supplies with differential and multiple-voltage resonant-filtered outputs featuring an LLC filter with low-noise EMI filter (with CLC filter on low-ripple output) for high-end class A/B or D/T amplifiers. Ideal replacement for conventional linear power supplies (generally suitable for TA2022, TDA8920, TDA8950, IRS2092 amplifiers).

RS: SMPS power supplies similar to RE, but with resonant filter “Single Rail Output” featuring an LLC filter with low-noise EMI filter (with CLC filter at low ripple output) for high-end class A/B or D/T amplifiers. Ideal replacement for conventional linear power supplies.

RXE: The top-of-the-range SMPS 600, 800W and 2000W featuring the latest-generation LLC resonant filters (with CLC filter on low-ripple output) with high-end FET transistors. Specially recommended for high-end Class D amplifiers (IRS2092, HYPEX, CXD). Also suitable for conventional Class A/B amplifiers.
