The switching power supply SMPS800RS is a very high efficiency model capable of developing a nominal power of 800 Watts in an extremely small footprint.
This power supply is capable of delivering 800W of continuous Audio power and up to 1000W peak.
The main characteristic of this power supply is the ratio between its compactness, its weight and the supplied power coupled with a very low EMI pollution comparable to the most efficient linear regulated power supplies.
Thus the compactness of the SMPS800RE allows the design of amplification in active speakers or even stereo or multichannel amplifiers .
The SMPS800RS incorporates overcurrent protection that limits the output current to approximately 125% of peak peak power, approximately 1000W.
This power supply is suitable for TA3020v3C and TA3020V3D class D amplifiers.
The auxiliary outputs are electrically isolated from the general mass of the board, allowing the voltage to be used in several ways depending on the chosen reference point.

Meaning of the terms R, RE, RS and RXE on SMPS power supplies:
QR, R : SINGLE or DUAL power supplies with classic LLC resonance filter for class A / B or D amplifiers, the SMPS R are characterized by their value-for-money ratio.
RE : SMPS power supplies with differential and multiple voltage resonant filter outputs featuring LLC filter with low noise EMI filter (with low ripple CLC filter) for high class A / B or D / T class amplifiers. Advantageously replaces conventional linear power supplies. (Generally suitable for amplifiers TA2022, TDA8920, TDA8950, IRS2092, ..)
RS : SMPS power supplies close to the RE but with "Single Rail Output" resonant filter with an LLC filter with low noise EMI filter (with CLC low output ripple filter) for high-end amplifiers in class A / B or D / T. Advantageously replaces conventional linear power supplies.
RXE : The high-end SMPS 600, 800W and 2000W featuring the latest generation LLC resonant filters (with low output ripple CLC filter) with high-end FET transistors. Especially recommended for class D high-end amplifiers (IRS2092, HYPEX, CXD). Can also be suitable for class A / B class amplifiers.
A switch or jumper must be connected to the relevant screw terminal for the module to operate.
