Balanced XLR Source Selector
This device allows you to connect an analogue source to your preamplifier, integrated amplifier or passive speakers.
Its function is to allow a permanent connection of one source to two amplification devices.
Once the source selector is integrated into a complex audio setup, simply use the rotary knob to select the active amplification.
In addition to the comfort of being able to change sources without touching the connections, this type of device is above all very useful for increasing the life of the mechanical parts of the installation (connectors, plugs, cables), insofar as they are less subject to frequent handling.
Connections balanced XLR
The source selector is designed to operate with balanced XLR sources harbor. It may well agree with advanced DACs and fit in very demanding audio systems.
The commes inputs the outputs of the source selector is done on the port XLR (male and female respectively). A connector is dedicated to each channel to form a balanced structure.
Housing 100% aluminum
In order to ensure good mechanical strength and to isolate the cables, connectors and welds any electromagnetic emission capable of Engendering interference and interfering with the signal, the apparatus is protected by a housing 100% aluminum.
Pleasant and precise rotary knob
The selection of the active source is done simply by turning the knob until the postiion desirée.
Each position is recognizable by marking "A" and "B" readable. This marking is also transposed to the case back to indentiffier easily which port corresponds to which position on the selector button.
This is a three position button. The center position is not intended to select a particular source but serves as office mute. What adds another handy feature on the same device.
Wiring with PTFE sheath
Each wire has a PTFE sheath, providing excellent chemical inertness and resistance against all the usual factors of audio degradation: corrosion, heat, moisture.
Thanks to this protection, the device will last longer without altering the sound quality.
