This second order 3-way filter (12dB/octave) has been designed with a 3 octave spacing. Dayton Audio metallized polyester film capacitors are used for the mid and high frequencies. Inductors, 18AWG for the midrange/treble and 20AWG for the bass are integrated to maintain a low DC resistance. The design of the low-pass filter section allows the use of 4Ω or 8Ω woofers. The midrange and high-pass filter sections are adapted to loads from 8Ω. All components are securely held to effectively eliminate vibration.
