This second order (12dB/octave) 3-way crossover filter has been designed with a 3 octave spacing between crossover points. Dayton Audio metallized polyester film capacitors and an 18AWG section coil are used on the midrange and treble channels. A 20AWG coil is used for bass. These coils keep DC resistance to a minimum.

The unique design of the low-pass section allows the use of woofers from 8Ω or 4Ω: ideal for setting up a multi-woofer system. The medium and high-pass sections are designed for a load of 8Ω. All components are glued or clamped to eliminate vibration and buzzing.
