The Dayton Audio MK402X 2-way bookshelf loudspeakers offer excellent sound reproduction, thanks in particular to the integration of a crossover filter that delivers high frequencies with softness and flexibility.
Each loudspeaker is composed of a dome tweeter and a woofer to reproduce a wide range of frequencies. All the components are integrated in a textured black box with a geometric design of the most beautiful effect.
Silk dome Tweeter Ø1.9cm
The Ø1.9cm (0.75") diameter silk dome tweeter on the MK402X provides soft, airy highs for a delicate, non-aggressive sound. Since sound waves are widely dispersed by this tweeter, it promotes a wide and realistic sound stage.
Woofer Ø10.2cm
The Ø10.2cm (4") diameter woofer built into each MK402X is capable of delivering low frequencies up to 60Hz. The frequency response of this woofer is also uncut, allowing it to unveil beautiful low-midrange/midrange, for a deep and coherent reproduction.
Crossover
The integrated crossover filter provides soft sound reproduction for listening sessions without auditory fatigue. Incorporating 7 components, the crossover uses asymmetrical slopes to combine the two speakers in a very musical way. It also flattens the high-frequency response curve for smoother sound.
