The Q Acoustics 3050i are 2-way speakers with two 16.5cm diameter bass-midrange speakers and a 22mm dome tweeter. Thanks to many of the brand's own technologies, these speakers stand out for their high precision and dynamics, but also for their wide sound image. These speakers belong to the brand's "i" (for "improved") range, using previous models to improve them. For this purpose, the brand integrates technologies from its top-of-the-range Concept.

A tweeter that goes up high

The 3050i tweeter is decoupled from the structure by a specially designed silicone suspension system. The vibrations of the bass drivers that could affect the tweeter's performance are isolated, allowing it to play your music with far less interference. In addition, the diameter of the tweeter increases to 22mm (compared to 25mm for the previous model) allowing a wider frequency range to be reproduced, up to 30kHz (compared to 22kHz previously)

Whichever model of the 3000i range you choose, the membrane is manufactured with extreme precision with impregnated coated paper. This is combined with a new generation rubber suspension with low hysteresis. The coated paper membrane offers a perfect balance between stiffness and self-damping, allowing it to accelerate without bending and to stop very precisely and cleanly, without unwanted resonance.

Sublime internal and external design

The 3050i uses the brand new housing design with a beautiful chrome strap around each speaker and very practical magnetic grids. Low profile terminals have been integrated with plugs deep enough to accept 4mm banana plugs. Due to this design, the speakers can be placed very close to a wall, even when banana plugs are used. This is the Carbon Black model, which is dressed in an elegant black coat, allowing these speakers to integrate seamlessly into the majority of audio systems.
