Viablue QTC spikes are made of Brass and the parts subjected to pressure (master disc, peak) are hardened with steel. The diameter of a QTC tip is 30mm.

Its initial height is 33mm. The adjustment of the spike allows to increase this initial height by an additional 3mm. It is also possible to obtain a second height adjustment by playing on the adjustable spike and threaded rod. But as a general rule, the main height adjustment between the rotating disc and the main spike is more than sufficient.

You can use the spikes, for example, to decouple speaker cabinets from their stands. This will prevent acoustic reactions. The use of QTC spikes guarantees a high degree of clarity from the speakers: the basses are no longer transmitted to the furniture and masonry and can be freely deployed throughout the space.

The 6mm diameter threaded rods supplied with the spikes allow solid mounting on enclosures or devices that already have a thread. Otherwise, it is possible to use the supplied claw nuts.

M6/M8 threaded rods are available as an option for speaker cabinets or devices with M8 threads. These special threaded rods screw an M6 thread from the QTC tip to an M8 thread.

The operating principle of QTC peaks consists of 4 steps:

1. Vibration reception.
2. Channeling of received vibrations.
3. Concentration of the received vibrations and channelling to a pressure point.
4. Dispersion of vibrations absorbed on the support.
