The S10N represents the next generation of Aune streamer, adopting an architecture based on five core: NXP Freescale™ processor, MediaTek™ WiFi streamer, LDAC / aptX HD Bluetooth receiver, PLL clock and asynchronous FPGA. A quality structure perfectly optimized to deliver high fidelity sound reproduction, both locally and wirelessly. And if the performance is there, the S10N is not left behind on the functionality side and will meet the vast majority of needs.
As a central element of this Aune S10N, the section in charge of WiFi network playback uses a MediaTek™ controller. This one allows a stable and fast broadcast of the audio stream. The S10N is also extremely easy to control remotely using the free iEast mobile app, available on both Android and iOS. The latter allows easy interaction with your device, via an ergonomic and intuitive graphical interface.
The S10N is powered by a powerful ARM Cortex-M7 processor, ensuring fast and reliable data processing but also in charge of hardware decoding of audio streams. It allows the reading of high resolution files, up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512, ensuring a formidable sound precision.
In addition to its WiFi network connectivity, the Aune S10N is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 receiver. It incorporates a Qualcomm QCC5125 chip for high-quality wireless audio transmission, including support for aptX, aptX HD and LDAC codecs.
The S10N's complex PLL clock provides a highly accurate signal. This signal is then fed to the asynchronous FPGA to generate ultra-low jitter digital signals for the most transparent and faithful sound possible. The S10N also allows the use of an external clock through its 10M input.
After decoding the audio stream, the ARM processor passes the signal to the FPGA and its oscillators. The FPGA then uses its own algorithm to regenerate the digital signals with extremely low jitter and provide a signal of absolute precision.
