As an evolution of the Auralic G1, the G1.1 streamer takes its excellent technical architecture and makes four major improvements. It has an even more powerful femtosecond clock, now supports AirPlay 2 network protocol, benefits from a boost in power for its headphone amplifier section and adds a weighted base. The latter - first used on the Auralic Altair G2.1 - provides excellent vibration damping.

Just like its predecessor, the Auralic Altair G1.1 performs the functions of network and file player, DAC and preamplifier with incredible efficiency. It also has the same elegant design with its robust aluminum case and beautiful 4" color display.

Its digital/analog conversion stage remains equipped with the excellent ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chip, ensuring a particularly detailed sound reproduction and supporting resolutions up to 32bit 384kHz PCM and DSD512. An oversampling function is available, offering the possibility to upsample in real time a PCM stream up to 32bit 384kHz.

The unit is powered by a 4-core Tesla G2 processor, a platform specially developed by the brand for its high-end devices, as well as 2GB of RAM, allowing a particularly smooth and stable use of the Altair G1.1

A digital hub as complete as it is powerful

The Auralic Altair G1.1 has proven itself to be versatile, responding to many usage scenarios thanks to a complete connection and high-performance wireless connectivity. With its RJ45, USB-A (USB Host for storage devices), USB-B (USB Audio), coaxial, Toslink optical and AES/EBU inputs as well as its balanced and single-ended outputs, the G1.1 will have no trouble integrating into an existing HiFI system.

A wireless WiFi connectivity, supporting DLNA/UPnP and AirPlay 2 protocols, completes this wide range of connectivity, allowing a control and access to your music from a distance. Bluetooth offers the possibility to broadcast wirelessly, quickly and easily from a smartphone or a tablet for example.

An internal slot can even accommodate an SSD (not included) to benefit from a local storage of its music. A function also allows you to extract the contents of your CDs to a storage device - internal or external - by connecting a CD player via the USB input of the device.

Auralic Lightning DS app

Auralic provides iOS device users with a powerful and easy-to-use control and management app. It features gapless and bit-perfect playback, multiroom management, parametric equalizer, preset filters and more. In addition, the application benefits from regular updates and is perfectly maintained by the Auralic team.

The streaming services Qobuz, Tidal and Amazon Music Unlimited as well as the web radio service TuneIn are directly accessible from the app. It is also compatible with Roon Ready.
