The Bluesound Node Icon is a headphone amplifier and multi-room streamer that gives you remote control of your HiFi system. Its extensive compatibility with, in particular, Airplay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and Roon Ready gives it great versatility, making it easy to adapt to a wide range of configurations.
Its THX AAA amplifier chip enables the Node Icon to boast an output power of 230mW at 32Ω. Furthermore, you'll be able to take advantage of its dual-mono digital-to-analogue conversion stage using a single-channel SABRE DAC chip, allowing the Node Icon to support 24bit PCM up to 192kHz and DSD up to DSD256.
Bluesound Node Icon: Outstanding connectivity
The Node Icon stands out for its high connectivity. It boasts HDMI eARC, WiFi, Ethernet and two-way Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. Once integrated into your audio system, the Node Icon lets you remotely control your music playback, whether from a local network, your favourite streaming application or internet radio. Remote control is simply via the BluOS application, available on iOS, Android, Windows or Mac.

The Node Icon also acts as a headphone amplifier, equipped with a THX AAA chip renowned for its high linearity and very low distortion.The Node Icon offers an output power of 230mW at 32Ω with a harmonic distortion rate of just 0.1%.

The Node Icon also boasts remarkable versatility. It is compatible with numerous third-party applications such as AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Roon Ready, furthermore it supports the Bluetooth aptX Adaptive codec as well as numerous audio formats such as FLAC and MQA.
Bluesound Node Icon: Dual-mono DAC
The Node Icon's Digital to Analogue conversion stage has received special attention in its design. It benefits from a dual-mono structure using an ESS ES9039Q2M DAC chip per channel, resulting in a sound with unrivalled dynamic range, ultra-low distortion and exceptional resolution. Furthermore, the Node Icon features brand new technology from MQA labs with QRONO d2a, which further enhances the DAC's performance by correcting synchronisation errors during conversion, guaranteeing a time response that perfectly matches the original recording.
Bluesound Node Icon: ESS SABRE ADC
One of the special features of the Node Icon is the presence of an analogue RCA input. To make the most of this addition, a latest-generation ESS SABRE ES9826 ADC chip is associated with it, ensuring faithful analogue-to-digital conversion with minimum noise or distortion.

The Node Icon is no slouch on the technical front, powered by a Quad-Core ARM Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.8GHz per core, giving you smooth, responsive navigation at all times on its 5-inch HD screen.
Bluesound Node Icon: Advanced ergonomics
The Node Icon has also been designed with ergonomics in mind, and in addition to control via the touch screen on the front panel, you can, as we said earlier, control this streamer remotely via its BluOS application. However, you can also integrate the Node Icon into a home automation system thanks to its compatibility with Crestron and Control4, which can even be controlled by voice thanks to Amazon Alexa integration.

The Node Icon, with its BluOS application, allows you to control all your connected players simply and remotely. BluOS is currently the only platform capable of supporting up to 64 players while broadcasting at 24bit. Furthermore, it provides access to a wide range of features and services to suit everyone's needs and desires.
