Bluesound is celebrating its first decade of existence by unveiling a limited edition of its excellent Node streamer, the Node X. Since its inception, the Node has proven through its various versions that great audio quality, versatility and value for money can go hand in hand. Here, the Node X, starting from this solid technical base and its numerous functionalities, offers a brand new and even more powerful version to open the doors of audio streaming to audiophiles and music lovers.

The ultimate Hi-Res streamer

With this Node X, performance is taken to a new level thanks to an intelligent design using high-end components. It is equipped with an ESS ES9028Q2M DAC ensuring a precise and rich sound reproduction thanks to a very low noise level and a wide dynamic range.

A high-end on-board headphone amplifier, driven by THX AAA™ technology and its patented error correction system, in turn provides very high quality, musical and immersive headphone listening, again with low noise and distortion. The headphone output on the front panel is in standard 6.35mm jack format.

Extensive connectivity

The Node X takes advantage of particularly compelling wireless connectivity with WiFi integration. With the free BluOS mobile app available on Android and iOS, access a variety of audio streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, Tidal or Qobuz or play a song from your music library stored on a computer or NAS connected to your local network. The Node X is also compatible with Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect protocols, allowing you to stream your music directly from these applications, without going through Blu OS.

In addition to this powerful wireless connectivity, the Node X is equipped with several physical inputs and outputs. The inputs are a Mini-Toslink optical and Jack 3.5mm analog combo, RJ45 and HDMI eARC connectivity. The output can be done in stereo RCA, coaxial or optical Toslink. A subwoofer output on RCA connector is also available, as well as a headphone output in 6.35mm jack format.

Multiroom & BluOS

The BluOS application also allows you to easily group your various Bluesound audio devices connected in a multi-room environment. It's possible to control all of these devices independently or in sync from the same application. The Node X can also be controlled via its touch controls or the included RC1 remote control.
