Streaming

The Neo Stream offers full connectivity, supporting multiple wireless protocols so you can stream your music easily and quickly.

  • Roon Ready : Roon Ready certification allows the Neo Stream to integrate into a Roon audio environment and work completely seamlessly with Roon software.
  • DLNA / UPnP : Use the DLNA/UPnP application of your choice (Bubble UPnP, Audirvana...) to control the Neo Stream and access your music from your local network or via your favorite streaming platforms.
  • Tidal Connect & Spotify Connect : Stream your music directly from the Tidal or Spotify apps.
  • Apple Airplay : Stream your music easily from your Apple devices.
  • NAA Feature : The Neo Stream can adopt the function of NAA (Network Audio Adapter). It directs the audio stream received via WiFi or Ethernet directly to a connected DAC without applying any additional processing.
  • NAS : Stream from a storage device connected to your local network via the Stream iFi application

Custom DAC

The Neo Stream's digital-to-analog conversion stage takes the audio streaming experience to a whole new level. It incorporates a four-channel True Native DAC that supports streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512, as well as a powerful 16-core XMOS USB interface that allows MQA decoding up to 384kHz.

Thanks to the four-channel True NAtive design, the PCM and DSD streams take separate paths and remain "bit-perfect" until the analog conversion. In the case of DSD there is no conversion to PCM or application of multi-bit processing, making the Neo Stream an excellent choice for all DSD lovers.

A complete connectivity and connectics

The iFi Audio Neo Stream offers extensive connectivity to meet the vast majority of needs and to adapt to numerous usage scenarios.

  • Dual band WiFi reception (2.4GHz/5GHz) with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac support
  • Gigabit Ethernet via RJ45, M12 or Optical LAN.
  • Dual USB-A connector (USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 SuperSpeed supported).
  • USB-C port for firmware update (OTA updates also available).

Optical LAN

Want to connect to your network via cable instead of WiFi? The Neo Stream offers a unique option in addition to its RJ45 and M12 ports: Optical LAN. Simply connect the OptiBox transceiver to your router and the Neo Stream to the OptiBox via an optical cable (OptiBox and optical cable provided). This option allows you to enjoy the highest quality digital connection. The router signal is regenerated, reclocked and rebalanced by the OptiBox. A true galvanic isolation is also applied.

  • Very high throughput up to 10Gbps.
  • Bit-perfect transmission of audio streams.
  • Minimal degradation over distances up to 1km.

No more noise

The Neo Stream has been carefully designed to eliminate noise and distortion from the audio signal:

  • The USB ports use the brand's ANC II active noise cancellation technology.
  • The SPDIF outputs incorporate iPurifier technology.
  • The digital signal is regulated by a GMT (Global Master Timing) femtosecond clock to eliminate jitter.
  • The TFT display features the SilentLine design so that no electrical noise interferes with the audio signal.
  • Use of components with low ESR, high linearity and low noise level to ensure excellent sound quality.
  • Voltage regulators with high PSRR (Power Supply Rejection Ratio), low quiescent current and low dropout rate + 1.2MHz high speed synchronous power supply controller to improve filtering efficiency and achieve extremely low power supply noise.

Bon mais...
L’ergonomie un peu datée. Il faut activer un hotspot pour pouvoir accéder à une interface Web de configuration. Personnellement ça ne me pose aucun problème mais pour d’autres peut s’avérer une galère. Une fois cela passé on peut dire que la qualité y est au coût d’un prix un peu haut.

excellent streamer
Le look est original, l ergonomie est moyenne. Les boutons sont très petits , les réglages par la molette sont peu intuitif. Mais les qualités sonores sont. indéniables ,clarté .precision .dynamique ,les filtres d alimentation courant et rj45 fonctionnent à merveille au point de surclasser mon bon cd drive Musical fidelity.la connectique est plus que complete.Tidal pré-installé fonctionne parfaitement.
En résumé de telles qualités de restitution à ce prix c est à ne pas manquer.
