With its compact and minimalist design, the NAD CS1 is nevertheless a complete and powerful streamer at an affordable price, allowing a low cost access to the world of wireless broadcasting and audio streaming. Its output connectivity allows it to be integrated into most systems, and it can be connected to an amplifier or preamplifier with RCA as well as to a DAC or a TV with coaxial or optical cables. The CS1 connects to your network via WiFi or Ethernet RJ45 and can also pair with a source via Bluetooth 5.0. You can thus very easily and quickly access your music and control the playback remotely.

With the CS1, there's no need to install a specific application to enjoy your music. Thanks to its Bluetooth 5.0 receiver, you can stream your music from any application on your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Connecting via WiFi or Ethernet allows for even better audio quality, while expanding the CS1's connection options. Supporting numerous network protocols such as AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Roon, the NAD streamer connects seamlessly to the vast majority of connected devices.

An efficient conversion stage

The NAD CS1 is equipped with a Texas Instruments PCM5141 DAC chip for its digital/analog conversion stage. This integration allows it to benefit from a wide dynamic range as well as a low level of noise and jitter, revealing a rich and lively sound. It also supports audio streams up to PCM 24bit 192kHz and supports MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) files for a sound reproduction as close as possible to the original studio recording.
