NAD has updated its acclaimed M10 connected amplifier with a V3 version featuring numerous improvements. It takes up the essentials that made the V2 model so famous, but this time with a new, more powerful ES9039 DAC chip, a phono input and support for Diract Live calibration. Amplification is still provided by a HybridDigital Ncore module, enabling output power of up to 2x100W at both 4 ohms and 8 ohms.
The streamer is powered by an ARM processor and a BluOS interface. A true digital gateway, the NAD M10 V3 enables access to a local network or various streaming platforms such as Spotify, Amazon Music HD, Tidal or Qobuz. Added to this are Airplay 2, two-way Bluetooth and a comprehensive input/output interface. To sum up, the NAD M10 V3 is an all-in-one device that could be associated with the “just add speakers” category.
Key features of the NAD M10 V3 :
The NAD M10 V3 features the same amplification as its little brother, the M2. This specific amplification system is characterized by very high efficiency and significant power available continuously. Indeed, the NAD M10 V3's speaker terminal outputs deliver 2x100W @ 4/8 ohms. Optimized rendering is also possible thanks to the use of Diract Live for acoustic correction and calibration according to the room and speakers used. Optional use of Diract Live Bass Control is also possible.
The DAC chip in the NAD M10 V3 has been upgraded to an ESS ES9039 chip for a considerable improvement in dynamics, SNR and final sound rendering level. The NAD M10 V3 is therefore able to support sampling rates up to PCM 24bit 192kHz. Numerous audio formats are supported, including MP3, AAC, WMA, OGG, WMA-L, ALAC, OPUS, as well as high-resolution formats such as MQA, FLAC, WAV, AIFF. Converted DSD is also supported, but only via the BluOS application.
The NAD M10 V3 has an Ethernet RJ45 and WiFi 5 connection, enabling it to access numerous streaming services such as Amazon Music, Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, Qobuz and HDTracks, as well as numerous online radio stations via the BluOS Controller application available for Android, iOS, macOS and Windows.
AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth capabilities give the NAD M10 V3 the ability to receive or stream audio wirelessly. Support for the aptX HD codec ensures high-quality transmission. This is particularly convenient for anyone wishing to use Bluetooth headphones or earphones, for example.
The NAD M10 V3 features the BluOS interface on its color touchscreen. This allows you to navigate through audio files and control their playback for the ultimate user experience. The color display shows every cover of your favorite albums. The system is powered by an ARM processor, and you can take control of the device via the BluOS Controller application.
One of the major advantages of the NOD M10 V3 is its ability to connect to multiple BluOS wireless speakers. This makes it easy to set up a 4.0, 4.1 or 4.2-channel Dolby Surround-compatible home theater system for the most immersive listening experience. Multiroom functionality is also very practical for broadcasting music to several rooms.
