This small Class D Mono amplifier module is ideal for DIY design of a compact, high-performance, low-cost amplification system with very good sound performance. The module is based on an amplifier chip TI TPA3116D2 capable of delivering a power of 50W under 8Ω, while taking advantage of a Class D architecture ensuring a high efficiency of over 90%. This power reserve will allow the amplifier to be used with a high-performance subwoofer. Its high quality design ensures low distortion, low noise and dynamic range for a precise and lively reproduction.

In addition, the amplifier also acts as a summing device, thanks to the use of a NE5532P AOP and capacitor tracking. This allows the module to receive a stereo signal and then mix the two channels and finally output in mono, without losing the left or right channel. This function is particularly useful to integrate a subwoofer to different types of signal flow.
