SUPRAVOX 400-2000 DIY Charging Kit Jensen

This kit is a mounting suggestion with two Supravox 400-2000 speakers in Jensen load. This type of load takes up the advantages of Helmhotz resonator bass reflex loads without the classic faults.

The advantages are well known with an extension of the bass to the resonant frequency of the loudspeaker, a lower distortion due to a less important displacement of the membrane. The Jensen Laminar Vent Load is an improvement of the bass reflex load with a reduced charge coloration, a better diffused bass tuning distribution in the listening area without the flow noises of the bass reflex tuning tube.

This type of load is a real advantage for mounting with a 1 or 2 inch compression chamber (sold separately) for a frequency cut ideally around 500Hz.

The kit includes only one pair of Supravox 400-2000 speakers. The assembly plan is a suggestion and does not include cabinet making.
