Fountek ribbon tweeters feature a transformer to enable the ribbon, which has only 0.02 Ohm of original impedance, to be connected to an amplifier with the correct impedance.

The Fountek-Neo series has a thick ribbon (0.02mm) and can be used with a 12 dB/oct. filter.
