This discrete voltage regulator has been designed to replace an LM7812 IC model (or LM7815 / 7818 / 7824 with adjustment), in order to provide your audio system with a cleaner electrical signal. Its value of +12V is adjustable in the range +12V to +25V by means of a potentiometer. This controller provides low ripple, low noise and fast response. The controller only uses high-quality components such as a Toshiba low noise triode, Vishay resistors, VX Tantalum capacitors or a Bourns precision potentiometer.
