This discrete voltage regulator has been designed to replace an LM7912 integrated circuit model (or LM7915 / 7918 / 7924 with pre-setting), in order to provide your audio system with a cleaner electrical signal. Its value of -12V is adjustable in the range -12V to -25V by means of a potentiometer. This controller provides low ripple, low noise and fast response. The controller only uses high-quality components such as a Toshiba low noise triode, Vishay resistors, VX Tantalum capacitors or a Bourns precision potentiometer.
