Unlike most receivers it is not the Bluetooth technology that is used here but the Wifi allowing a signal transmission without any compression or loss as well as a much greater range.
Each device is renamed in its interface to allow you to send your music in the area of your choice (Lounge, Bedroom, Kitchen etc).
Capable of being used in direct connection with a smartphone (without being connected to an existing Wifi network) it can also be connected to your existing residential network.
