Dayton Audio DCS255-4's Spaker delivers bass frequencies with low distortion and favorable sensitivity to its range. This speaker can both serve in a filtered passive speaker block (high fidelity audio) in an independent subwoofer project to deepen the spatial presence of your home theater viewing room. Its frequency ranges from 200Hz to 31Hz for massive and precise bass frequencies.
From audio perspective, this model provides a clear and neutral sound that will leave not alter the nuances of sound and the intricacies of the amplifier. The DCS255-4 is a speaker relatively demanding in terms of power which will give very convincing results in medium and high power. Used with a decent amplifier, it will offer a very satisfactory result in a high-fidelity system.
Built in a steel structure, DCS255-4 has a paper/kevlar cone reinforced acoustic processing sailing, a ventilated motor structure and an aluminum voice coil wound on polyimide former. Proven manufacturing makes this speaker a convenient and affordable solution that will suit any amplifier with sufficient power.
