Dayton Audio's Designer Series was developed specifically for speaker designers. It is a line of affordable loudspeakers with an emphasis on performance. Careful engineering ensures that each driver is capable of handling full power handling at the lowest possible frequencies, without exceeding linear excursion capabilities.
This DSA270-8 uses a low distortion motor, combined with an aluminum diaphragm and a rubber surround. It offers very good performance over its entire frequency range and allows for a large linear excursion. It will fit into many speaker designs.
