With the 215 Héritage, Supravox offers a new French high-fidelity loudspeaker, in the tradition of the famous T 215 SRTF, an essential reference from the 1960s to the 1980s. With this model, the brand perpetuates and develops this standard of sound quality by improving its performance. Each loudspeaker (100% of the production) is measured individually in order to offer the highest quality possible.

Alnico Serie

The Alnico is the oldest type of magnet. A thorough and rigorous study of the magnetic system makes it possible to fully exploit its qualities: a high magnetic force that is almost insensitive to temperature rise, with an operating limit of 450°C.

This brand new 215 Héritage loudspeaker is based on the legendary wideband soundtrack of the 1960s, the T215 SRTF. Working from original models allowed Supravox to rediscover the sound qualities that have satisfied many music lovers.

A new engine, developed using FEA software, is designed around a central core weighing 1kg of Alnico 5. This construction allows to capture 100% of the energy emitted to the magnet. Thus, the magnetic field reaches 1.2T in the 8mm gap. The pole profile provides a perfect symmetry of the Bl(x) curve with a 3.2mm excursion, while generating less distortion.

The coil has also been redesigned to be lighter, made of Aluminium wire with Copper plating and Nomex support. Finally, a thorough study of membrane treatment ensures a linear and very broad response.
