This Neutrik NC3FRX RX series connector is a 90° angled female XLR connector. It features a nickel-plated copper alloy body and silver-plated copper alloy connectors for protection against corrosion and oxidation. It accepts cables with a minimum external diameter of Ø3.5mm to a maximum of Ø8mm. Cable assembly is performed by soldering with conductors of up to 2.5mm² (14AWG) cross-section, while overall connector assembly requires no screws for added convenience. In addition to convenient assembly, 5 cable outlet positions are selectable. This high-quality female XLR connector also features a highly effective cable clamp, a solid metal snap-lock, solder barriers on its internal contacts and low resistance on its external contacts for enhanced conductivity. Grounding is also optimized thanks to spring-loaded contacts ensuring continuity with the connector body.
