These connectors are easy to assemble, with only four parts and no screws.
The contact block is made of hard plastic (polyamide) and is inserted through the back of the body.
The female contacts have a unique cage design with seven independent contact springs for low contact resistance and high integrity,
and incorporate a solder barrier to prevent the solder from flowing into the area of the mating contacts.
The female connector has a larger, easier-to-handle improved solid metal latch, plus additional new spring-loaded contacts for better body mass continuity.
