new kernel issue in Volumio to decode mp3 and 24 bits!
Do you have any advice regarding the new kernel issue that blocks allo kali + piano to decode mp3 or 24bit files (play as white noise).... the 32 bit conversion trick is no good to me after trying to invest in a coherent and reliable system... if no better solution is to be found, at least updating the presentation of this product, would be a real "game change"...

Works perfectly with Allo Piano 2.1. With Kali Piano is getting much closer to Allo Revolution. A good investment if you want to play with passive DAC RPI HAT.

I should mention how quickly Audiophonics had respond to my ordering; my Kali was shipped in less than 6 hours from order confirmation which is quite impressive!

Metallic sound!
If you like metallic sound with a lot of details this is for you.
AUDIOPHONICS DAC I-Sabre ES9038Q2M sounds 10 times warmer without this reclocker.

I build a system consisting of a Rasperry Pi 2 (using PiCore Player), ALLO KALI Reclocker, DAC ES9038Q2M and linear power supply. The result is amazing, the sound is great (in general better and much more detailed compared to my previous sound card, a Sound Blaster X-Fi HD SB1240).

DAC ISabre ES9028Q2M, avec le reclocker Kali et l'alim linéaire régulée, cable Mogami 3104 en bi-cablage sur des Tannoy D700. C'est le top.
Je n'aurais jamais cru que mes CD étaient aussi bons.

J'étais un peu sceptique quant à l'amélioration que pourrait apporter ce reclocker. J'ai été bluffé. Je l'ai installé entre mon raspberry et mon dac I-Sabre DAC ES9018K2M J'ai énormément gagné dans la définition des aigus, les basses et médium sont encore plus propres et la scène musicale s'est agrandie, comme si les musiciens étaient plus "ecartés". La dynamique est elle aussi meilleure.
Un régal !

Sounds with Piano really synthetic like mismatched frequencies.
AUDIOPHONICS I-Sabre V2 DAC ES9023 TCXO sounds much much better for less money.
