also quite ok
Compared to the IBasso DX 220, the sound is less detailed but more pleasant and analog. Sometimes you like one aspect,...

Addendum
..in clicking away from the page, I noted that the resistors are susumu. If that is indeed the case, they have a very good reputation for noise

Looks good
I have yet to wire the device in, but it seems to have a good build quality. I brought it in order to connect to a pi. It isn't going to be just a plug in, but equally a pretty simple lash up of power and i2c. I found The documentation less than clear, but in reality all those connectors are just pass through, so 4 / 5 wires should do it. A true audiophile would reject those SMD resistors, but for me a better that 100db signal to noise ratio is more than acceptable. I note the other advice here on popping when changing levels. This is a general problem with switched ladders, but I note that the Dutchman whose design is almost identical to this one has an algorithm for reducing the intrusiveness .... All I need to do now is compare his solution with that used for this board

Does its job with some limitations
It works pretty well if volume changing is done gradually 1 step at time.
Increasing volume of many steps at once generates a "pop" noise on the output.
