Good input switch box
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this switch box. When introducing a switch and extra connections into your system, there is a natural concern that this could introduce some sonic degradation. This switch box seems not to have introduced any detectable sonic degradation at all. The switch itself is very smooth and easy to turn (almost too easy) which gives an impression of good quality. I was concerned that it might be too stiff.

Great Unit
Good build quality. All metal with rubber feet. Even the selector knob is metal. I think though the ABCD letters above the selector should be more clear. Perhaps in red? The unit was well protected in the shipping box. Recommended!

Beau produit, de qualité, pour chipoter une meilleure finition du bouton sélecteur, les arrêtes notamment.
J'ai testé 4 sources actives en même temps dont une phono, souvent problématique, et aucune interférence. En revanche, me concernant, un ploc dans les enceintes en cas de changement de sources actives.

Does The Job
Has a nice finish, similar to other silver stereo components I own so fits in well. The footprint is larger than I would like, given that all the box is meant to do is select between 4 different inputs and nothing more -- no other electronics on board. But it does serve a purpose, acting as a counterweight to 5 pairs of cable tugging at its back, allowing it to stay in place. Personally, I would have preferred something smaller but with the same weight. The walls and faceplate are already fairly thick (5 mm), so additional weight might be achieved by adding a thicker bottom. The selector switch itself is nice looking, but I would have liked more distinct increments; the switch has rather soft settings instead of stiffer click-stops. Having said all that, I don't regret purchasing this item. It's doing what it's supposed to. My streamer/amp only has one RCA input and I have several components that need to share that input. The selector looks good with the rest of the equipment, is holding its own against all of the cables that are being routed through it, and I've grown accustomed to the soft switching.
