Good detailed DAC
I ordered this DAC together with the Topping P50 linear power supply. I have also a Toppin D90 (AKM chip) DAC in my living room and bought this for a smaller room.

Compared to my D90 it has a more analytical 'cooler' sound. I like the D90 a tad more, but that is a matter of personal talste. Also the D90 was much more expensive. This is still a very good DAC for the price though. Therefore I give it 4 stars.

Great DAC
This is my second D50s, already purchased a black one so my initial review is there. After several months of use I can still safely recommend this device for its features, sound and small footprint. Completely free of any background noise working on a 10$ mobile phone charger. No clicking/popping/needle dropping on sample rate or PCM/DSD change except 384KHz where it makes a loud click on switching, but I really don't have anything recorded with such a frequency. BT also works flawlessly and you can even turn it off. Replaced its buffer opamp with AD797, OPA627, OPA1622, and it sounds different with each of these. OPA627 gives emphasis to the bass while OPA1622 gives emphais to the details and vocals. AD797 also colors the sound in very positive way, at least to my ears.

God details but cold sound.
I gave 5 star to the Audiophonics aftersale. The dac don't meet my taste, it's full detailed with a wide scene but the sound isn't emotional. I returned the Topping and I put back in the system my old dual AK4399, it's a DIY kit like the Audiophonics DAC Module AKM AK4495SEQ. The voices are more realistic compared to the sabre.
