I bought this product for the HDMI-ARC connection. With this SMSL box I could not control the volume level with the remote control of my LG TV. When I checked the small user manual, it is indeed stated that it is not possible to control the volume level with this box. It would be nice if Audifonics could give a more complete description of the products they sell.

Works fine
Bought for HDMI ARC with an LG TV, it works well. Also tested for phone USB OTG, very good. Very good price for all functions included.

Relié à la tv par hdmi arc et à l´ordi par toslink, cet appareil envoi un signal analogique tout à fait correct sur l´ampli.
Pour le jus, j´ai mis un vieux chargeur de téléphone, et hop.
Le bluetooth fonctionne aussi. Je n´ai pas testé le son par usb avec le driver dispo sur le site du constructeur.

Pour transformer le son d'une TV
J'ai acheté ce DAC pour améliorer le son de ma TV, à qui je peux ajouter désormais un ampli stéréo et des enceintes dignes de ce nom. Par Toslink ce PS100 décode le signal venu directement du Player Freebox, tout en étant sous tension grâce à une des prises USB de l'écran (pratique !).
Tout petit rikiki, donc discret, il n'en est pas moins richement doté en connexions. Surtout, question son, il fait plus que le job ! Etonnant pour le prix.
Je l'avais choisi un peu nez au vent, pour sa connectique et son prix, mais il confirme que chez Audiophonics il n'y a pas de mauvais produits. Je recommande !

Simple, cheap but excellent and very versatile mini-DAC with HDMI-Arc input. Power over USB which every modern TV has. 24 bit resolution and 192khZ sample frequency by far enough for any home theatre. Limitation to only 2 channels.
